1933 Gibson L-2 (rosewood)
Perhaps the rarest Gibson we’ve ever offered. A 1933 natural top L-2 with 14 fret neck, pin bridge, and Brazilian rosewood back and sides. Housed in the original case and part of a private collection for several years. This guitar is definitely not a conversion. We know this as no 14 fret L-2s were made that weren’t pin bridge. Also- the FON and pickguard points to non conversion. And finally the neck itself, 1 3/4 nut and V shape were used only on non conversion L-2s. $20,500.
