Brokering

Have you put an instrument on consignment with a dealer only to to have it sit there 6 months, 8 months, a year, or even MORE? Only for your asset to NEVER sell. A situation where the guitar maybe isn’t displayed in the showroom and least of all cared about? And then finally you’re hit with multiple required fees? It’s even worse if you had multiple guitars to be brokered. Do you feel like a number beholden to shareholders to make a return on investment instead of working with an owner to make a living? Well we don’t do that or operate that way at Dying Breed. We give our maximum effort to sell each guitar and will not charge you media fees, listing fees, advertising fees, shipping, etc. We do paid advertising for each guitar through several mediums and ensure that our Facebook audience- larger than every exclusively vintage dealer- is utilized.

We have more than 215,000 views each week on our website. Which of course is more than 800,000 per month and actually more than 10 million visitors per year! We pride ourselves on playing the online game as well as anyone. As a guitar owner and consigner what that means for you is a consistent audience of actual buyers- studio musicians, rock stars, investors, studio owners, songwriters, museums, historians, and more. We have cultivated this over 11 years and no one works harder at it. While working here I took two years of full time study at the University of Southern California to earn a masters degree in communications, marketing, and management from the number one ranked communications and media school in America. Again what this means for you- obviously I’m not the best at every facet of the vintage guitar world. But when it comes to the marketing aspect- I want no one to do it better. At Dying Breed Music you will always be treated with dignity, respect, courtesy, and humility. And you have my word- no one will work harder for all sides. Never hesitate to contact us through any medium.

Just recently we have sold seven different pre war D-18s, a 1957 Stratocaster, 1957 Bassman, 1959 Stratocaster, two L-00s, a custom color pre CBS Jazzmaster, a 1938 shade top D-18, 1935 Nick Lucas, 1955 Tweed Deluxe, 1938 D-28, 1937 Advanced Jumbo, 1937 000-45, 1960 telecaster custom, a 1963 fiesta red Stratocaster, a 1964 Vibroverb, a 1938 000-28, and a 1953 blackguard telecaster. Eight more consignments have rolled in this week including a 1937 D-18 shade top in the original case. If you want to deal with a pro vintage guitar dealer- without the runaround- and discipline, consistency, grit, sacrifice, work ethic, competitiveness, and integrity as our core values….
